I have no clue who Gigantor is and what he's all about, but I am mighty impressed by the trailer. It looks like the Japanese version of the Iron Giant, sans the heart break at the end.

Seriously though, this looks like ass F/X. That's Mr. Floppy-Buns level quality right there. Which is great if you're a high schooler with LightWave, but otherwise... that's assssssssssss. Feel sorry for the company that had to pay for it.
And here I was thinking that the CGI was echoing back to the feel of a cartoon. In this case, I feel that it works.
